The basics are boring!!!

We know that learning the basics can be one of the most boring things ever. That being said, we teach it because it really will help you with spells and magick in general.

I can promise you that every single experience, sucessful practitoner you will ever meet knows their basics. They know how to meditate. They know how to visualize, how to feel and focus energy. They may not memorize tools, colors, days, moon phases, ect...but odds are it's written down somewhere for them to look at and they have used it in their simpler spells at some point.

While you are learning these things, and becomming comfortable with them you can still be withcy, magickal or whatever other word you want to use.

Make use of the crystals, colors and herbs. Those have been used for centuries by many people from differnt walks of life. They may not be spoken words, but they are magickal nonetheless. The energies within them attract certian things. So if you want a spell to be lucky, protect you or a loved one, attract love or money...look them up in the forum or use the links I have provided and make use of these magickal items that will always be ready for us.

I agree, my ex-mentor said "there is no begin or end to magic it is a life long journey" Also I think Witchcraft and Wicca can be a self empowering thing to discover.

but why do teenagers turn to witchcraft? Teenagers aren't always in control of their own lives, so witchcraft can be used in order to achieve some control or to get what they want??


it is known that around 75% are only into it because they want to shock there parents and scare there friends. These Teens get bored very quickly. Then there are those that are the interested seekers but even within that group some people by the time they are 21 decide the path is not for them and they give up.

So that leaves about 10% interested seekers.



One of the reason many people turn to the craft is the media,
Television programmes such as Charmed and Bewitched and films like the Craft, Practical magic make people believe that there lives problem can be solved by a spell.

:p sedna that is a very good point to raise! there are a lot of people on this site that only persue witchcraft is because of programms like that then when they are told otherwise, they find it boring and leave, some even remain in ignorance and try to dictate to others even though their knowledge is of a childs degree.

there is this guy who mailed me saying he wanted to know how to make a fire ball, i thought he meant psi-ball and explained how to make one. He then complained that it wasnt working that he couldnt get it to combust. i was confused and said "wait do you mean physically?" we then spent 2 days argueing over the possibility of it, he then tried to force upon the possability of electic balls etc, and sent me a link to a 4 second video of a supposed houdoken and demanded i didnt argue, i am trying to help this guy to the best of my ability because he has issues with his parents and at school, But i am running out of patience with his determination to force the idea of a physical fireball on me......any tips?

Fire balls are your basic Psi balls with the component of heat added into it not normal heat from energy but the heat which a candle or fire produces thus you get the term fireball so in others words you spent 2 days arguing over the fact this person was right but did not possess the right information in which to explain to you. As for electric balls the same applies but in a more advanced way to produce an electric ball you need to first master electrokenisis the ability to manipulate and control electricity from here you are able to form said electric ball so again 2 days of arguing when the person was right again just did not possess the right information.

For further references and to help sort out pointless arguments try researching the idea of what they are saying or even ask someone if the possibility of it is true because more than likely it will be just the person telling you may be slightly confused and wording it in another way that you dont understand.
