More about the chakras

The chakra system dates back to ancient eastern masters, with the oldest recorded tradition being from India 1500-500BC.

There are 7 major chakra centers where vital energy flows. Through these chakras, we can receive and transmit spiritual, emotional and physical energy.
The idea is to have and keep these chakra centers clear and balanced for optimal well being.

As listed in my previous post (under tankgrrl's thread about the chakras), each chakra is associated with a particular area of the body, a color or colors and crystals/stones.
The crystals are used at the chakras for clearing, healing and revitalizing, therefore achieving optimal well being.
