Is it possible to live forever in a physical body?
I have heard it is and have heard that is not. I am not balanced between belief and unbelief and now I do not really know, so I need someone to tell and explain it to me.
If you could stop your body from deteriorating, then yes we could. See, we grow... grow... grow... peak, and then wither away (how lovely, lol). The physical plane is very limited. We live in it to learn, and one day we ascend from it to something greater (in my belief). It's not meant to be lived on forever, though I would love to watch millennia pass by! I suppose we do 'live' forever, but in many lives.
Though, I have heard that sharks could live for practically forever if they were not so prone to disease.
I'm 120% positive that our spirit lives forever. Saying that, I mean I know myself that reincarnation is real, but don't want to conflict with anybody's beliefs.
Unfortunately cellular deteration is, at least for now, impossible, potentially with the advancements of stem cell research it might one day become possible but as it stands neither science nor magic can preserve a living body forever. Sharks do have a long life span but it's not normally over about 200 years even in captivity where they are kept away from most diseases and when you consider that they've been around for well over 200,000,000 years, it's hardly forever
But if I could refresh, renew or somehow regenerate cells, or grow new ones, changing the old ones. It would be possible, yes ?
I know everything is possible, what I am asking is, how is this possible and through what is it possible.
Feeding on prana (life force) to stay clean from diseases, watch out from life taking accidents and renewing cells or using some other way to be immortal ?
Potentially if you could convert adult stem cells back to embryotic stem cells they could be used to continually regenerate old tissue cells but the knowledge of stem cells is simply not yet advanced enough to apply it ny further, to be honest I think eventually everything has to die, it's unfortunate and unpleasent but as it stands currently there is no way to preserve life indefinately, not to say it's impossible but I certainly haven't heard of a way ever
Yes, the both last messages is what I agree with. I am not asking for eternal immortality. I would just like to lenghten my life span to 200 years for example. Just 2 times longer. That would be my desire.
oh yeah it is possible be born full enlightened then hope no one brain washed you till you killed your self. its simple just be yourself no matter what the cost and poof you live forever cause God designed the body to never die sin is what caused people to die sin is to limit human potential hey Gods plan is that we all live forever as gods
