There's so many different types of crystals you'd have to do your own research to find every single effect etc.

Here's a good list though, not sure if it complete.
For your eyesight, I would probably suggest black obsidian, it's fairly easy to find and apparently works quite well. If that doesn't work though there are other crystals such as turquoise that would probably help it. Good luck in learning.

Drats... if I had my crystal books with me I could help you. I can probably get back to you tomorrow with a list of crystals with specific benefits to the eyes.

I would suggest talking to your doctor about corrective contacts.

The Crystal Bible is good for pictures, for identification and whatnot but I highly recommend using it in tandem with "Love is in the Earth: A Kaleidoscope of Crystals" by the author, 'Melody' (sorry, no pictures). It goes way more in depth and has many more crystals/minerals and methods of use.

Also, it should be mentioned that the pictures in The Crystal Bible are sort of 'perfect specimens' of the crystals; not exactly what you may find in your run of the mill New Age shop. Be careful though, as many places will use radiate quartz to fake certain stones or stoop even lower than that: I've encountered a PAINTED chrysanthemum stone and bottled quartz pieces stained blue passed of as blue topaz. I don't think the shops are at fault so much as the people supplying the stones, so just be aware. Look through Google images to get a good idea of what you should be looking for before and after you purchase stones, to make sure you aren't getting gypped.
