Needing a little help.

I've found myself in a very odd situation in which I'm not sure what to do.
The man I love is always with me spiritual, but physically he is quite far away and can't quite make it here to be with me. I know there has to be some way to get him here so we can be together. It's not a matter of money, or transportation, but rather...I don't even know how to explain it.
He touches my dreams now and then, but I rarely ever see him in them. When he's following me around during the day I can sense him, never really see him or hear him, can't feel him. But he is there, sometimes I can catch a faint glimpse of him...It's been paining me for some months now. At first I was told to go with him, but I was with someone else and refused to make the decision to do so, even though I know I wanted to. I know now I should have chosen him then and gone with my heart, but I didn't want to break my promise.
Does anyone know a way I may be able to bring him closer, or here to me. I'd do about anything to be back with him and fully commit myself to him like the both of us have wanted for quite some time.
If anyone knows anything that may help...please, help me.

I know this is a bit unconventional to put this in here, but I really need this.

He astral projects to me all the time is how he's almost always with me. But I struggle with astral project for some reason and I'm not sure why.
I've been asking him, but we've been able to really figure out a way to get him over here.
