Not to my knowledge. Generally when one does a blessing it negates negative energies. Perhaps you should try smudging the area or the entire house if it would make you feel better. A good smudging should assist you in getting rid of any negative energies circulating in the area.
And smudging really does work! I remember blessing multiple houses and each time the mood immediately lifted and the house became somewhat brighter and happier. I've also smudged people and they said that they felt so much more relieved and peaceful. So if you sense evil, definitely smudge! You also might want to try the blessing again and add a protective charm or something along with it....maybe?
well every now and agein, magic will atract certian...entitys to the area of casting, so that could be why, and a very nice combonation of herbs is rsemary and cloves, both can be bought at the spice sections of food stores
Thats not normal really OP. May i ask what blessing did you do? Also i agree with the others suggestions, definitely cleanse and rebless your book before you use it. A book of shadows or whatever you wish to call it should almost feel like a part of you.

but i know there is an evil presence in my house, may this one be countering the blessing?
Thats a lovely blessing will have to write it down, if there is a negative influence in your house, its best to get rid of it and as said before by a previous poster smudging is excellent for this. Can you think of where the negative presence came from or even what it is?
