Let me tell you a secret
In this battle of head versus heart
My head speaks
But has no control
My heart stays silent
But it's actions truly do Speak louder
My head says I'm fine
My heart won't let me sleep at night
My Heart
Has let me have five hours of sleep
Not so bad you say
Try five hours in five days
The rest of the night is devoted to not dreaming
Not thinking
And only until recently crying
I ran out of tears two days ago
And I'm still pretending I'm fine
But school started
And I still Can't function
I'm tired
Confused
Broken hearted
And as always feeling used
Tell me now
you may have cried
but how many hours of sleep
are you losing at night?
