Making a Wand

This keeps popping up in the chatter so I will make a thread for it.
1. Take a walk in a natural place, find a piece of wood you feel drawn to and take it home

2. Scrape off the bark(or leave it on if you prefer) at this time you can also sand the wood to leave it smoother

3. Customize it. Remember, this is your wand. There are no right or wrong ways to do it. You can add gems, cords, beads, metal, or anything else that floats your boat.

Good luck!

Also, you may wish to bless or consecrate it before use. Entirely up to you, for once again, your wand.

Very good points, I would like to say that picking up dead wood is preferable unless you can tell us how to do it.

But yes, if you can tell which tree it came from thank it personally, if not then thank the surrounding nature.
