Okaycso there are supposed to be tons of ways to ap so far all I can find is that really deep state of relaxation and the rope, neither work for me so for this thread I'd like people to post there different techniques. So everyone can experiment and find there right one!
From what i have learned you should try to learn all the techniques you can. then once you have a basic understanding of the techniques make your own technique that works for you. Also try out Shadowdemon's technique. His helped me out alot and its not that hard :P Good luck.
Astral Dynamics By Robert Bruce is a great book with many different techniques and a section on overcoming different exit problems...I recommend this book if you can get it :)
You get frustrated when it doesn't work, correct? That means you are trying to force your exit and cannot succeed. For those of my ways, we overcome simple frustrations as this by never trying. Simply focus on meditating until you can slip into complete meditation in the noisiest area you can find. when you obtain this control over your mind, the answer will be waiting and you might even AP without even trying to. First, not only study the basics, but spend the time needed to master them. Then you move on to higher level techniques.
I found the book and requested it at my library (thanks gingseng) and will post as many techniques as I can, so everyone can have a variety to choose from and experiment with. Until I get it and after I get it, please keep on posting techniques, tips,and info about aping. Thank-you!!!
The entire physical body needs to be in a deeply relaxed state, until then it is not really achieving the whole real time body to generate.
If your physical body contains any sort of tension and muscular knots it will not allow the full generation of the projectable double.
Try projection when you are well rested and not after eating.
As for not being able to move sending out simple direct verbal commands to move should help. I also think some problems may be due to lunar cycles(the strongest time I believe for projection success is the week surrounding the full moon)although i see the moon as always full..it is just the sun's reflection on an astronomical body.
Also try working on your primary energy centers and stimulating them beforehand.
