For those of you who wish to know what element they are i have a few answers.

Which element you are has nothing to do with birth date.
for Ex. I am born December 22, and it says i'm earth or water, I can bind with all elements but i am best with fire.

And as for finding your element well i think the best way is to simply experiment with all elements.
The one you bind with usually is the easiest to connect with.
It simply feels right to you.

you can't really control the elements.They have their own spirt, soul, and life just as you and i do.
That is why i say you more or less bind with them.

Good post, DarkEssence! But I'd like to add...

If your practice includes astrology, the position of the Sun against a certain star sign at the moment of your birth can be a very dominant part of your elemental balance... doesn't mean your Sun sign is the be-all end-all of your elemental craft.

I totally agree that magic should be based on practice and personal experience... not just posting your date-of-birth and waiting for the number-crunching to come. I think that nobody with a true magician's soul would be content with this Sorting Hat kind of judgment on them, until they've felt and investigated how it works.

arent u a capricorn so u would b earth but ur dec 22 is the first day of capricorn so ur in the boarderline of saggitarus so its fire and earth

Okay, Lonewolf, let me put it this way: As a Leo (August 5, mid-Leo time period), it is thought that by my Solar Zodiac that Ishould be best with Fire and Earth, but I am best with Water and Air. I can in fact bind with all elements, but water and air have always come easiest for me.

Experience is the key word.
I have practiced with the Elements and their seperate and combined powers for a good 4 years now, this beginning before I began looking into other Magicks, it was all a game of the mind.

Considering that I have had FOUR YEARS to work with the elements, which one(s) I'm best at are very easy for me to determine.

Does that make more sense?

ok ok maybe nothing was a bad word to use...how about your birth date has vary little to do with what element you bind with..some but not that much...this is my beliefs...

yeah totally i was just going by the zodiac like for instance mi friends is a aries thats fire but she is good at water the total opposite u may just need to practice to determine but for me my zodiac sign did give me the best element i am good at water and i am a cancer

I am equally equipped with all elements. I have equal amount of control and have binded with them all. But my element of choice would be wind.

My zodiac sign says I am fire but I feel connected to all of the elements. I am working on pyrokinesis but am eager to start with the others. I have no idea, however, of how to start. Does any one have a simple beginner exercises?
