Yule
As I gaze upon the moon
Bathing in her glorious shine
I hear the cries of a thousand wolves
Pleading to the goddess divine.
The shortest days and longest nights
Are why we gather here right now
To celebrate winters first sight
Every human cat and cow.
We watch our mother draw down the moon
And laugh and dance around the fire
We wait until the stroke of twelve
And watch the smoke rise higher and higher.
We embrace the mighty goddess within
We connect to every aspect of nature
We eat our cakes and drink our gins
And dance widdershins around the fire.
We summon and welcome all the dieties
Of earth water fire and air
We feel their emotions with our empathy
We help them and show them we care.
After Samhain and before Imbolc
The time of giving gifts delight
Happiness and joy we shall invoke
For no more tragedies or horrid plights.
