To achieve better results

Here are some tips on how to gain better results during your magical work:
1)Desire - to successfully do a spell, one must be in the right state of mind. Crowley's followers used drugs, Gardnerian witches use herbs(teas, smoking mixtures)and the bondage of the wrists and ankles(to slow down blood flow)as well as singing and dancing , Satanists use their accumulated emotions and anything else if necessary. There was a witch I heard of who made the participants sniff glue, which is a good option.
2)Timing - before the Satanic bible, I thought there is no need for this, but after I read it, I understood that this is vital. Magic is based on coding ones mind so that you make sure the victim dies or falls in love with you. The best time for "coding"(spellcasting) is night, when the victim is sleeping because he/she is the easiest to code at that time. Additionally, when the woman is on her period, she is more prone to spells cast on her. Some religions and people use "the planetary hours" to seek out the correct time for the ritual. This can be used, but I personally never use it.
3)Imagery - this one is one of my favourite aspects of magic (although one of the hardest, too). Different colors and different shapes make us feel different feelings about them. That's why all those sigils and words are used in circles - it's to visualize. But that's just a little peace of imagery. Not many understand, that Imagery in in your ritual tools, your clothes and even your room. That's why in the Church of Satan documentary (Satanis: the Devils mass) you can see people dressed up in dark clothes, people with masks, black candles, skulls - it's all for imagery. There will surely be a difference whether you use a rainbow colored voodoo doll with a smiley face or if you use infant-like doll covered with dirt and having no eyes. The room is important too, so it's better to work at night when the room has got it's gloomy and Gothic look.
4)Direction - you shouldn't cast a spell and then anxiously wait for it to happen - that would only weaken the spell and show that you are not confident in your work. Let's say someone has angered you and you want to curse them. Don't run wild until the curse takes place - if you haven't lost the stress by only doing the ritual (being confident that it will work), it may mean that you have just wasted time.
5)Balance factor - now this is what truly opened my eyes in understanding magic and for this LaVey has my thanks. The balance factor. Let's say you're an antisocial guy who never leaves home. You're sick of it and want to break out of this shell..and then you cast a friendship spell. How can it ever be successful if you never leave home? Here's the balance factor - you're not getting sanything if you aren't even near it. It's not likely that an old creep with nothing to give up will get a young hot girlfriend just by chanting every day before bed.

Nice post of the 5 elements of Greater magic, but it seems that you are portraying it as a actual system of "magic". when in effect its a system of psycho drama designed for one to appese themselfs and gain emotional gratification and the drive to effect change to benefit their will from whithin there selfs, as if a ritual for lust was concerned, timing is important as just before and after the menstruation cycle a women is naturally more sexual leading you to having a better chance to seduce the person. the ritual has given you the drive to do it while you will still need the fundermental aspects of lesser to make it a reality. thats why the importance of the balance factor is expressed while concerning lust and compassion rituals as although you have been emotional satisfied through ritual, if you dont go and peruse what it is you have been desiring, it will never happen.

hense the rule of the world - Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained

Through emotional gratification and attained ego direction through rituals thats the power of magic, leading to change of a rational fantasy in to a reality.

You say Imagery is one of the hardest to do,why is that. Imagery is simple. You use whatever stimulates you emotionally, if a pink room gives you some sort of satisfaction then use pink, if a sordid picture will stimulate sexual emotions for workings of lust, then use one. The Satanis film you speak of is a great film, but even greater is the way LaVey is giving the people what they want. through speaking with michael a aquino, a former priest of LaVeys who founded the temple of set. that film was created as LaVey was sick of people assuming all sorts of behaviour went on within the confines of the church, So LaVey gave them what they wanted and accentuated things for the film. Brilliant.

Im assuming you know and understand the 3 other aspects derived from these and their purpose, for those who are now wondering the 3 aspects are, Altered Visualization, Dislocation and conflicting timing

i see you are having problems with imagery,i find that iff i draw that immage or put a particular type of music on that resembles that image helps alot.and as for what type of room you use its entirely up to your personal choice and what stimulates you.

Magic is not something that can be put into laws, nothing can not be changed. Its the stress one puts into it, the will. Any and all magic practices have multiple methods, it's what works for the one using it that makes all the difference. It's a mental state. The mind is a powerful tool, as energy change and shifting (manipulation) is the basis of magic.

I would also like too add that while using these points of satanic greater magic, you are also using a science, utilizing the effect matter and willing has on each other effecting the state of mind giving the appearance that your actions are coming from a different ego, this is outlined in my book :)
