What does the Swastika means to YOU?

-There is a great debate as to what the swastika means now. For 3,000 years, the swastika meant life and good luck. But because of the Nazis, it has also taken on a meaning of death and hate..

I was wandering around the forums and found out that people are using the swastika for hexes, curses and death spells...O.o Ok, part of it, I understand use what it feels right to you to be able to achieve the main goal but... Is the Swastika, as a symbol representing the dark forces of evil?

Well according to my opinion The Swastika is all about peace and love and in some cultures it means infinity...

As I can see little Adolf made a great job with representing the Swastika as a symbol of great power, but people misunderstood it and took it as a symbol of pure evil...Well again, it is also understandable to think that because Hitler 'cleaned' and lessened the world for about one third of the population if i am not wrong...well however it was a pretty big number of killed people...

So, what it will be? Swastika is bad or good?

hitlers swastika was a variation of a rune siegel. It represents in its basic form sun, but Guido von List changed it into a symbol of victory. Similar to Nazi SS symbol that is called sig. Every important officer in nazi germany had knowledge of runes. It was necessary in that time. Especially the SS officers, who were considered crown jewel of Nazi army.

And yes i am aware that symbol of swastika is appearing way before Hitlers arrival ( like Tibet and other civilizations). But Nazi occultists were (perhaps still are) following the teachings of Guido von List (who was taught by Madame Blavatsky).

Both a symbol of sun and a symbol of Nazi terror. I believe it can't loose it's positive meaning just because some freak decided to put it as his sign. It depends on the concept. For me it's primarily good.

The Swastika was chosen by Hitler for its original meanings including influence, vigor, and good fortune to pass.
That, is what it means to me.

I do not feel that the American flag means "In Great National Debt" therefore the Swastika does not mean "We Kill Jews for a Living".

The swastika still appears and means what it should, what most people are unaware of is that Hitler inverted the original swastika in trying to make it his own.

The inverted swastika (Hitler's symbol) now stands for white supremacy, in what is referred to as a "Neo-Nazi" era.

To mean it's It's a sigil. I believe in some cultures it was the sign of healing as well as good fortune originally. But people just had to ruin that idea >.> But that's my take on it. And if im not mistaken the nazis did a lot of research with the paranormal and occultism for their warfare. But like all things even with their great "evil" some good stuff did come from it such advances in medical technology and exploration in science. I don't approve of their methods, because well genocide of any kind is just a horrific act however some of the stuff we know today wouldn't have happened without it. So really it played it's part.

It's no different than the inverted cross really. Most think it's a sign of Satan. However the pope wears one. not many realize that. Supposedly it was used because when John was crucified he refused to be hung up like Christ. He told them that he was not worthy to hung right side up like his "savior" So was born the the inverted cross. Long talks with granny. She knows her Christian myths. So it's not a sign of Satan but a mere reflection of a death of a disciple. Thought i would share :)
