Finding you birth number is very simple take your birth date and add them together.
(exp) jan, 5 1979
1.5.1979
1+5+1+9+7+9= 32
Now seperate 32 and add them together 3+2=5
The birth number for this date is 5

Finding your magical name is just as simple. Lets take my name as an example and my birth numer 5. The name you choose should corilate with your birth number.

Now suppose you like the name Draco. Using the above chart break down the letters and add them together.
D=4, R=9, A=1, C=3, O=6
4+9+1+3+6= 23
Take the number 23 and seperate them and add them together
2+3= 5
My magical name matches my birth number.
SDometimes this takes months to find the right name for yourself but once you do start using it in all your spell castings.

shouldn't u keep ur magical name to ourself.. to safe guard it.. i donno.. soo no-one else can use your magical name in there rituals!?

Keeping your magical name to yourself is up to the practitioner. Although yes Mindy you bring up a great point. You can be a easier target to find if someone set a hex against you using your magical name for targeting.
But there are many safe guards one should already be using in their everyday life let alone while spellcasting for protection.
