Empath

is being an empath really magical? shouldnt it be a little more common? i can do it but i always thought everyone could.

An Empath is anyone who can understand, but as my grandmother said when you have the gift of empathy magickly speaking its more of you feel it with in.

Like mine when it was first starting I felt so many emotions come at me like intruders in my head&heart but when I learned to calm them away I stopped feeling it.

Than there was the problem of it getting in so close I acted upon others feelings which is not always good but you learn to calm that down.

Now, that I am experienced I can tune into anyone I wish or pick and lead myself to whoever needs me or crys out when they don't know it or sometime for fun I just peer in to know but I rarley do that.

Also, I haven't gained this but my friend is opposite he feels but can overload someones hurt to feel all they have done to someone but this is not needed,unless nessacarey.

It does come in handy because I can tap into others gifts and use it against them but I haven't had need of it for awhile. Spet when people who are telepathic or idk try to peer into my feeling I just block it out.

So yes normal people naturally are Empathic as I would say and written in my Book Of shadows.

Magicly-Empath+empathic ablilty is not only knowing,using,absorbing and blocking to overloading any and all emotions.

I suppose everybody is born with it just like how they say everybody is born with psychic abilities but some people can hold onto that for the rest of their life and others just grow out of it and lose that gift.

My spirit guide says that empathy is not only sensing and feeling emotions but other energies as well. She says the more powerful the empath the more energies they can pick up on. If you don't believe what I am getting ready to say then don't that is fine but do NOT call me a fluff. I hate that word. But my empathic powers let me pick up on almost every type of energy. I have yet to encounter an energy that I cannot sense. And of course the type of energy can make it harder. Lead is one of them. I can barely sense it cause it is so dense. Also it is almost impossible to sense through as well. Depending on the thickness of course. Again I know that this post is weird and hard to believe but if you don't then don't call me a fluff or any other name intended to hurt me. In fact if you don't believe me then don't reply to this post AT ALL.

All people have the potential to be an empath but some people possess the skill more than others. I can for instance sense more than just emotions. I can sense elemental energies, fission, fusion, ect. ect. Empathy is my strongest power. hmmmm can anyone else sense more than just emotions? Or is it just me? I doubt that though.

I can tap into peoples emotions but can't control it, I hate feeling their pain and sadness it feels horrible to know someone elses pain but feel totally powerless and unable to stop it. How do you guys control you empath powers so that you only tap into it when you want to or you can get out of it when you want to?

I learned to know myself and only listen to my own and later came control to blocking out others sorta like an on and off switch. Some emotions come in because you need to know to help others.

Wiccandeity you just need to practice. I have been an empath now for about 7 years. It was my first power. I learned (after about 2 or 3 months) to build a pyschic wall between me and other people emotions. Literally a wall. When I want to sense energy or emotions (I can do both) I take down the wall. Hope this helps. FYI it is really hard for me too at first. I cried all the time. Couldn't control any of it for a while. It WILL get easier though.
