Due to a busy schedule I haven't had much meditation practice, but in the past I've had little success channeling energy, centering, or grounding. Anyway the other night I was simply laying in bed when my body felt....weird. I found myself trying to imagine energy all around me. During past efforts to channel or sense energy due maybe to a item about grounding I read I picture my energy as red, though sometimes relating it to life force I picture it green depending on my intent. What I mean I've tried casting spells on plants and the energy I pictured was green. Anyway what I'm wondering is I know everyone probably feels their energy or the energy around them differently, but how does it feel to you?
there are different kinds of energies, i believe. most people feel the good, which is the warm and fuzzy. the neutral, earthly energy is the 'wind' or breeze', and the bad energy is detectable by anyone: the stuff that makes you afraid. that fear doesnt come from nowhere.
my energy is typically warm but not always fuzzy. i like to think of my element when i think of energy; fire. it helps me visualize it. anyways. energy can feel different to everyone, as you know. but up there are some basics.
sometimes i have 'god moments', which is where i feel like im literally connected to everything around me, that i am a being of pure energy, and my energies are shared with the energies that surround me and fill this universe. that is a positive experience ive had a few times.
well i feel my energy in meditation as like some kind of wind like structure but with waves and having a viscosity as water.
i feel it but, i don't imagine it.

if your talking about external energy everyone is going to perceive it differently. As there are many different types of energy flowing at all times. What I tell my students is to try to color code the energy they feel, for example if it is hot energy red, cold energy white. This makes it much easier further down the road when you need to channel specific energy for spells. It also lets you know what energy you are looking for. White energy is a cool breeze or a cold rain. Red energy is fire. Blue energy is water. Green energy is the earth. This might not work for everyone but I've had great luck with it.
