Primordial Deity: Khaos

Why is there so little information on Khaos? I tried to look it up on google and wikipedia and barely found anything. Can anyone help me please? I also noticed there isn't really anything in the forums or articles about Khaos either. Does anyone know why there is so little information about her?

PS: Thank you for all your help in advance.
PSS: Sorry if I sound rude it happens sometimes when I have alot of questions or when I get frustrated when I can't find information, so please forgive me if I come off that way. Thank you

Blessed Be )O(

Chaos is a primal deity that represents the state of the universe before there was anything identifiable in nature and purpose.
The personification of non-being.
It's a bit of a contradiction.

theoi.com has a fairly decent entry about Khaos, though though isn't much information about this deity as Khaos wasn't worshipped, as far as we know, in classical Greece so no cult details are available. If you're interested in Khaos you're best off using the information available to back up your own unverified personal gnosis, though be aware as UPG is obviously personal and therefore subjective your experiences may be different from that of others.

Here are some links for you to investigate, including the theoi:

http://www.theoi.com/Protogenos/Khaos.html
http://kaaos.org/faerie/khaos.html
http://www.pantheon.org/articles/c/chaos.html
http://www.ancient-mythology.com/greek/chaos.php

There isn't much anywhere that you'll find on the matter. Being that they believed it was nothingness- well, there wasn't much else to write on it.

Classical texts
Apuleis: The Golden Ass
Euripdes: Medea
Hesiod: Theogony
Hesiod: Works and Days
Homer: The Odyssey
Homer: The Iliad

Modern texts
Burkert, Walter: Ancient Mystery Cults
Burkert, Walter: Greek Religion: Archaic and Classical
Buxton, Richard: The Complete World of Greek Mythology
Graves, Robert: The Greek Myths
Hoffman, Albert and Wasson, R. Gordon: The Road to Eleusis
Vernant, Jean-Pierre: The Universe, The Gods and Mortals: Ancient Greek Myths
Ward, A. G.: The Quest for Theseus

Though if it's the actual stories without the commentary you're interested in then you're better off looking at children's books about the Greek myths.

Haha you point to all those texts while the Bible is the one with the most evidence pointing to it.

The Bible does not talk much about other gods, although it does say that their are (You shall have NO OTHER GODS before me). You might want to use the Bible to help with Judaic mythology. It may give some hints as to Khaos.

@ GoddessNox and Greystagg: Thank you :)
@ LuxAngelici: I'm already looking through the bible. I started reading it with my family and I came across some things that sounded familiar or were similar as to what I am looking for. Thank you for your help as well. :)
