I am a ceremonial magician and I perform my rituals everyday so basically that energy build up in my altar is enormous. Here is the story,
6:00 pm= I performed the LBRP, BRH, MPR.
I felt quite calm perform these rituals, about 10pm I was starting to get sleepy so I went to my bed, NOTE: My ritual space is in my bedroom.
10:00 pm= Me and my father went to sleep, My father went down after a few minutes since he was sick with the colds, he keeps coughing.
10:34 pm= A weird event happens, I was sleeping and I had this feeling of panic, suddenly my bed starts to shake. I made sure it wasn't my imagination. I touched it with my hands and lied down again. It was still shaking.
10:35 pm= I went down and told my dad what happened. He wont believe me since he doesn't believe in occurances like these.
To all those who think this is fluffy then don't comment. I was scared so bad that night and I am seeking answers, I am a ceremonial magician and as so i keep my word that this is truth. I seek answers, If anyone has any thoughts feel welcome to share.
The way I see it there are 2 possible answers: Poltergeist activity or emotional psychokinesis. However I wasn't emotional that time and there are no teenagers in my house aside from me. Both of my parents were sleeping. My father slept downstars, My mom slept on the other room.
Why do you allow energy to build up upon your altar? Clear it out, balance, ground out, etc.
This is much the purpose of the such rituals as the LBRP, BRH, and MPR, which, by the way, are somewhat redundant when used for the same purpose (though I'm uncertain to what end you used the MPR, it seems as though you used it for purification).
Perform them correctly and banish the unnecessary energies.
When performing any other such ritual, close any doorways you open, so to speak.
Likely the shaking was little more than the result of something you experienced in your sleep.
It could have been the tremor of an earthquake. I believe they're called "aftershocks". I had never experienced an earthquake in my life (and have lived in the same state since I was born) but about one to two years ago, my husband and I laid down to sleep, and suddenly the bed felt like it had a vibrator in it! The whole thing was shaking but nothing else did. I could hear a distant rumbling, but overall it was very strange to me. It felt like a train just rolled through my bedroom. When I looked through the news online, I discovered that an earthquake occurred a state away.
If your father is sick, he could have slept through it (my daughter slept through our tremor).
@AwakeTooLong: Sorry for my clumsiness of speech. What I meant to say is that the rituals given create changes to the energy field around me. The LBRP, BRH, MPR when used together alters the person's aura to some degree causing a build up in energy within the field. I close the doors and windows and everything. Is the problem because after I perform the rituals I directly sleep. Not in that instance but I have done it many times right after I perform rituals I fall asleep.
The build up of energy within your aura is again, unnecessary. And all of those rituals, with the exception of the MPR, are banishing rituals, and therefore rather redundant.
Any magical practice will alter your aura, so to speak, much as any event that you experience might. It opens your eyes, changes your perception, and forever leaves a mark upon you. This is the nature of learning and growing. The "build up" of energy is either personal growth, or should be balanced out and shed if there is no need for it. When you glow like the sun you attract attention. There is no real purpose to it, unless you are actively seeking that attention or otherwise developing this energy toward some goal.
As I said, after any ritual the purpose of such banishing methods is generally to disperse any excess energy and prevent anything else from coming through. In terms of the doors that I spoke of, I meant in doors in a more figurative sense. If you are summoning, it is best to be certain that nothing else can come through when you are done so you close those "doors."
I'm saying that the performance of banishing rituals one after another is redundant (repetitive and unnecessary), and that there unless you have a use for calling up the energy within the MPR there is no point in doing so.
IF there is excess energy after whatever you have done, it should be banished, grounded, or otherwise balanced out.
Well, based on my knowledge. I would like to explain my understandings toward these rituals.
1. The LBRP- A ritual used to remove unwanted internal influences and elemental residue that could interfere with the magician's activities of the day. This also is begun and ended with a ritual to invoke divine force to empower the self (The Kabbalistic Cross).
2. The LBRH-A ritual used to remove unwanted external elemental influences and astrological/planetary residue that could interfere with the magician's activities of the day.
Please correct me if this is incorrect. Different rituals have different outcomes, Even both are banishing rituals. It does not only banish. The LBRP does not only banish demonic energy but also invokes the 4 archangels withing the space. The BRH is a ritual similar but different from the LBRP. Correct me if I am mistaken.
So what you're saying is you use them to cleanse/upkeep yourself spiritually?
Although, it is a good idea to maintain our spirit, in my opinion, calling upon such powers that these rituals do, may cause these beings to feel disrespected. Imagine having a powerful reputation to rid people of the worst destructive forces the spiritual world can come up with, and then being used to bathe someone (figuratively). It would anger/annoy anyone. Here is another example. Ask a gourmet chef to cook you Kraft Mac and Cheese. Same difference.
You may want to find a more self empowered ritual to perform as an upkeep, and save the LBRP and BRH for more serious work (I'm not familiar with the MPR). You want to uphold the respect and honor to what you work with in order for them to respect you and be there for you when you really need it.
I've still not crossing out a possible aftershock, but I have a firm belief that when you abuse the use of higher beings, they tend to let you know. Might be something to keep in mind. During sleep is when we are most suseptable to receiving messages. So if Awake's theory is correct, it could also be considered a warning within a very real seeming dream.
