By your personal ideas, my questions for all of you are: What do you believe that magick is? Do you believe is something religius or something that changes your fate? Is there something bad or good you found on it? I cannot think of more questions, but the meaning is the same. Don't find it as something bad, I'm just asking.
I see it as a means to an end, simply put.
Religious? not necessarily.
Alter fate? not by my book.
I find it to be both "bad" and "good", whatever that may be.
Well I believe magick is the very fabric of reality. I believe it is what creates, destroys, and changes everything. I believe divinity is magick made into a lifeform. The divine created and organized reality by harboring the power of magick. I believe God created lesser Gods and Goddesses, man, and beasts. The Gods and Goddesses now exist in a realm that mirrors ours that we can travel to while we astral project. This is just my beliefs. Please do not bash them. :)
I believe magick is natural, plain and simple. The chi flowing in this room is no different than the air or moisture or ambient electricity in this room - it is its own, specific part of the environment.
The chakras which keep me alive are not terribly different from the organs that keep me alive. True, the two systems play rather different roles in keeping me alive, but then my lungs and my liver are filling rather different roles as well.
I use magick to reach out and change the world around me, but I'm changing my world if I kick this laptop across the room or use feed my cat. That I am using magick instead of my hands is not terribly different than using my feet instead of my hands - different organs for different jobs.
I have found both good and bad in magick, just as I have found both good and bad things to do with my hands, good and bad ways to treat my organs, and good and bad ways of interacting with my environment.
magick is anything you want it to be but with rules that all must follow(im not talking about physics)..like the wiccan rede and the three-fold law..(universal)
good question. magic is energy, it is found all around us. myself i'm very logical, and while i've yet to have a spell fail for me, i find it rather illogical for burning incense and saying a chant should work, but it does. myself, i do potions because i know the properties of herbs work, and have worked, so i do believe in them. magic requires faith as well as practice. but to be put simply, it's energy found everywhere.
That's nice. Thank you everyone for replying. And here's where I want to finish. Everyone of us has deferent, same and unique ideologies. So, no one can be called a fluffy or role player. That's where I wanted to finish. If you want you can tell more experiences. I really would like to hear more.
