so before you think I'm another retarded person wanting attention read this... I am not insane so it was not a hallucination nor was I asleep so it was not a dream... I truly felt a connection in my inner soul... people have told me that my soul is ancient... I had no clue what that ment until Anubis came... recently I was meditating as usual when I felt a dark, ancient presence with me... I had canted the Invocation of Anubis I read in an article on here a few nights before to no avail... looks like Anubis just didn't have time then... or he didn't realize who was calling... but anyways he appeared before me and told and showed me my past... I was once a great sorcerer in ancient Egypt... he looked exactly like me... same figure, eyes, and even hair that I've dreamed of... everything was the same about him... he was older of course not just 15 like I am today... anyways Anubis told me he was very fond of this sorcerer and that his soul got lost during a failed spell that could have saved the Egyptian civilization but went terribly wrong and killed him... Anubis gave me his gratitude that the soul had found a worthy body and also told me that part of him was locked inside my soul... bonded with me... some may say this is to get attention... but let me tell you this is the truth... this truly did happen and it is not something i will soon forget
Awesome vision! A warning not to let it go to your head though. I've seen too many magicians experience something cool like this and then hold themselves back front clinging too tightly to it.
Interesting have had many visions involving gods but none like this. Look up the house of life. They were the elite sorcerers of egypt. And in egyption magic the gods would bind with a human so in essence you would be closer to some gods than others

There are many types of bonds that can connect two souls. Native Americans believe that when someone is possessive of another that they actually take a piece of their soul. Ancient priests or priestesses would devote themselves completely to their deity and form an extreme bond with them, many times such a bond was one where people believed all of their actions reflected the will of that particular deity.
But like was said, don't let the idea consume you. It's driven some to the point of insanity. They become obsessed.
Especially a deity like Anubus needs to be approached within moderation. Just because it's a deity that shows you favor doesn't mean he won't be against teaching you tough lessons that will make or break you, especially if you abuse his help. Deities are like the ultimate parent, and the closer they are to you, the more involved they get. They'll test you, they'll reward you for good things and come down on you when you do something they feel is wrong. It's one reason why I don't worship any deity no matter how much I may feel a connection to them. I like being independent. I'll show them respect and honor, but I don't attach myself to any of them.
thank you all :)... and I do understand not becoming too obsessed... I thank you for the advice though because I fear without it I would have been one of those people who became overly obsessed and did something fatal
and ronin the only thing I get when I look up the house of life is that gay Kane Chronicles stuff by Rick Riordan... I've read the books and I mean waht he writes could be true but I doubt it... he bases so many of the items in his stories on fact that it's hard to tell
