Your chi is your life force energy, which affects everything from your personality and mood to your spiritual magick. It is channeled through the seven chakras, morphing into different types of energies according to which chakra you are opening or meditating upon for your spell or whatever purpose.

There are different theories about chi and chakra relations, but I find that this one is the most effective in manipulating my magick and different aspects of my life.

Close your eyes sit or lye in a comfortable position. Play a simple calming soothing tune in your head and open yourself up(just stay calm and alert). Now see a blue mist surrounding the area and coming into your glass like body and fill you up feel that and feel it surround you. Don't force it let it flow and feel it. That is the first step to manipulating: feeling.
