What can magic do that i cannot do with a secular mind?
I find so many people responding with things like "magic follows the rules of nature." But then, is it magic? I can do anything i want within the rules of nature.... that's why the rules of nature exist. They are a set of guidelines made up by secular minds to be able to efficiently live in this world. Represented by a logical nifty little table that we have to learn in school.
The rules of nature are formed by the perceptions of my upbringing. My knowledge is bound by the information that im able to get from a collection of sources including family, friends, school, and people like yourself.
I "know" what i have garnished with the limited perceptions of my being. That being said, i probably don't know half as much as i think i do.

You answered it. This is exactly what magic is, learning and expanding on the capabilities of the human vs nature and how we effect it, work with it, and utilize it, and I feel you understand it and that you are capable of grasping this understanding. What I think you need to do is step back and look at how this applies to your life.
Magick does many things for people. The things it does for people varies, so I cannot say what it will do for you exactly, but I can throw out some suggestions:
-It can bring you closer to a higher sense of self. that is it can allow you to feel confident in who you are as a spiritual being on this plane.
- Allow you to experience unity with a higher power, a truly spiritual and joyous experience to most.
- Allow you to take control of your life, rather than sit back and hope.
- Improve your confidence as a result of being capable of taking control of your life.
There are many other things magick can do for you, and I am sure everyone can add to this list. You never know what it will do for you, unless you try.
Sigh..... The wife calls. I must sleep. its late. ill come back Tomorrow.
I just...I just want there to be more. Universal laws, or laws of nature.
I want magic to be real. But I'm not willing to believe in something just because i want it to be real.
math works because you can take 100 different people and give them the same problem and you will get the same answer. This is a logical conclusion.
But with Magic, everyone has their own version it seems. Do they have an etiquette way of even spelling it? Is it Magic? or Magick? or Magik? or....what? I'm never sure when im typing it.
I think the only reason i give magic respect is probably because its as old as human ideas. Its got to mean something.
