A Question

Hello everyone. I've been wondering around the forums and I found something wierd and interesting. The language of spirits or dragon language which helps a lot to force a spell to have success on its target. I know that spirits can be summoned or communicate with us, but about language... that part is confusing me. So my question is this: Do spirits have their own language?

Most of the time, no. I have found that spirits communicate in the languages they died knowing.

I guess that you are right. But I think that spirits are completely deferent from souls.

Spirits are basically souls of the dead.

I would think that spirits are the imprints of a soul rather than the original soul itself. I don't really know though, I haven't done much actual research on it.

never come across a spirit that speaks in spirit language. have come across an illiterate one, and i've met my share who love messing with people while using a ouija board by spelling gibberish. i've asked a couple spirit friends about other languages, never come across spirit though as an answer, normally they speak English, but i've met quite a few who also speak french [grew up in quebec] and a couple who spoke German, but none speaking spirit.

same goes for dragons who speak 'dragon'. yes, there is a language of dragons, but most whom i encounter either don't speak to me, say one work, or ask me a riddle. had a dragon write in runes once, that's the closest i've come to encountering any being speaking an unknown dialect.

In my experience they communicate through images and impressions, sometimes throwing in key words.

Well, by my experience, whispering from the spirits are tricky. They can make you see wierd things when you hear their whisper. So, I guess that the whispering idea, it's not their language.
