If I walk into a pet shop will I just feel the connection or do I have to get eye contact from every animal?

A lot of traditions believe that you do not find your familiar that your familiar finds you instead. This is how it was with mine. Gawdrick was a puppy and showed up at my work door and i took him in and took care of him only realizing later the bond we share
