I was walking in mist then I came upon a door with strange writing so I went through it.Then I was on a road and right next to it was a dark river so I continued to walk.A man on a boat was in the water and he invited me to join him so I did.I began to notice things that fell in the water died but things pulled out came to life.Just as I began to notice this he pulled up a man with half a body that half man had grey tears he sang in words that I didn't understand then we went to a dock we both got off.I followed him we came upon a place it seemed to be selling stuff it looked like a large tent so we went inside.They had all different things and they sold about everything.The man put the grey teared man for sale.I walked out and I continued walking down the road when I met up with some sorts of hunters so I went with them as we were walking I saw animals and people corpses lying on the ground everywhere I saw a dog that was alive and rushed to it just as the hunters were about to kill it and I said No this is mine I shall not let you take it so we continued walking.I saw the door again I walked towards it but stopped because the dog would not get any closer then the half man appeared but no longer in half picked up the dog and said I will take care of it but you should go now you should not be here. a silver tear fell down his eye as I walked through the door I heard him say do not come to this door again. Then I woke up.
With basic dream reading it could mean you shouldn't attempt to divulge in the occult, but it also could've been a random dream that means nothing. This is not necessarily the correct meaning just one i theorized.

Now, to the subject. What I recommend is to take a moment and think what the dream could mean by yourself. The whole importance is given to what you think that they symbols you've seen in your dream represent. People have different points of views and concepts about symbolic meanings of dreams, nobody can tell you which of them is right or false, thus your own one is the best. You will also get better with self dream interpretations. ^-^
This could mean many things so I agree with Lady Bliss, but I am curious as to why Wedjat went straight to "With basic dream reading it could mean you shouldn't attempt to divulge in the occult" first? All are open to interpretation, but I would have to know more information before trying to help with it. What did you watch before bed? What were you thinking about before bed? What did you do before bed? Did anything special, upsetting, or life changing happen recently? Every bit that you see and every part of it can mean something or it could just be something that was a combination of different events or things you saw that day. Information it key to figuring out what it means. I suggest writting it down and start (on a seperate paper) writing down everything that pops out at you for the past several months along with the more basic questions like I stated before ie... What did you watch the night before? etc... You may start finding similar things and peices to what I like to call the dream puzzle. :) If it continues, start a dream journal and write down everything you remember from each dream. You could have also visited a different realm/demention/veil (whatever you believe in), but that is just a side note thought since you were sleeping and that is the best time for it as your mind is the quietest and able to be released. But like I said it is all in what you believe or what you want to believe.
Only you know what you have done, seen, and gone through so it will be different for everyone (even if they have the same dream.)
Well since this is old, I probably shouldn't say anything ... But That day I didn't do anything but sleep, I couldn't seem to wake up. And after That dream I wrote it down.
I had a strange dream too. I was walking along this forest path when I came to a clearing, inside the clearing was a large pond that was black and reflected nothing, as I walked towards the pool I saw triangular spiders all together making a web, fourteen to be exact. I felt like they were watching me. I continued towards the pool and birds flew, the sky turned purple and it felt strange like I was floating. Then I reached towards the water and touched it, I thought it would ripple but it felt cold and velvety. Then I saw eyes and a face. A hand grabbed me and pulled me in. Then I saw all sorts of images and I was pulled back out of the water. All around me were round rocks and on those rocks were all the animals I've met, they looked at me and I felt like I could understand them. Then the pool started to to swirl and suddenly there were stars in them, two stars came out and kissed me. I lay down near the pool and close my eyes. I felt the grass grab me and I was pulled down to the earth. Then I woke up.
