like a jumping off point you mean? as in you take a wealth spell that calls for a coin and a green candle, but you add a chant you made up? that's fine, personally i feel it's a good way to learn how to write your own spells. just write down what you did and what results you get so you know if it works or not.

Yeah that was what i was going to do but thought of redoing my path before that to see where i may have good wrong
