Paths? Potions? Spells?
By:
Hiya! I'm new to magick in general, but I would really like to learn how to cast spells and learn the finer points of alchemy/potioneering.
I am interested in chaos magic and death magic, but can someone please clarify what paths these types of magic belong too?
Oh, and any info on alchemy would be useful too.
Thanks,
TheTraitor.

Chaos magick is fairly well known to a path such as Discordanism. It does not belong to a specific path of magick , as it is a path all on it's own , in a way .

Death magick does not belong to a specific path of study , but is utilized by several fields of study . Some paths work with death energies and that itself is considered a form of "Death Magick" though it is usually not all that it is to all there is to that particular field . It is usually a portion of the path or field of study , and not simply such .

I think i may have heard of working with death energies, also some people refer to necromancy as death magick,it's kind of hard to explain what chaos magick is because some people look at it differently then others, but i think there is an article on here about it.

Alchemy does not refer to the crafting of potions, I suspect the closest thing here to that is herbalism. Alchemy is the path of creating the Philosopher's Stone. The definitive book on the subject that I've read is the Book of Aquarius. You can download it as a free PDF, but I think the book is down right now while the author is updating to the new edition.
