re occurring dream

This dream I been having since I was 7 years old an has had me questioning things but I don't know what it means still, so I'm asking you guys for any ideas. So here's the dream.
I'm on a mountain side that has cherry blossoms on it I'm looking over at a old town. The town was engulfed in lava, I could hear the people screaming as they was burned, melted and dissolved by the lava, and I hear footsteps behind me and I feel a sharp pain in my shoulder and everything went cold and there's so much blood around me

I think your dream is of Pompeii, are you of Italian Origin? What era did the architecture resemble? Perhaps you have unsettled family ties or something along those lines.

partial Italian but the village look more ornate I have done research and its either Pompeii or a new routes in that happened in Japan in the 1700's but there's been so much stuff going trough my mind during the dream
