Don't judge this idea based off the title. It's not as fluffy as it sounds. I just had a theoretical spell I wanted some input on.
Now, while I know it is impossible to attain any change in physical appearance (or at least nearly impossible), I was wondering if it could be possible to attain a Sharingan of sorts. Meaning a partial ability to see into the metaphysical realm without Astral Projecting. Now the physical traits of the Sharingan are of no consequence, so just ignore those. I was just seeking to know if it is possible to gain the ability at the center of it's purpose. And if so, if it would be possible to advance it in any way (to alter the metaphysical plain in some way without APing, for example).
This is just an idea that sort of hit me as perhaps being possible (of course it might take a long time to accomplish, which is a given with any form of the craft unless one is either gifted or a quick learner). While I know it sounds a tad sketchy, and still has holes as to how one would accomplish it, I just want to see if anyone else thinks that this could be a possibility given the proper time and focus. Now try to keep an open mind with this. While the main idea of this post may be a bit far off at the time, it could lead to a different idea should the main one not have a solid enough foundation.
So again, this is just a general idea (and a slightly blunt one at that). So if any of you care to help me refine it a bit, I'd appreciate it, along with any other input you have.
Personally, I think the Sharingan was a play off of the Third Eye/Brow Chakra. No, it won't allow all features as described through the three stages of the Sharingan. But that's Naruto for you; that's anime. Some things may be in reference to actual history (such as Nobunaga Oda is referenced in the anime Samurai Deeper Kyo). Some practices may be referenced. But none of which should be taken seriously when coming from a manga, anime, or any work of fiction - whether of Japanese origin or not.
it is possible in some ways but to do it u need to learn a few other things such as astral prjection extrem multi tasking and energy weaving. but it is for advanced menipulators.
Look, you cannot have Sharingan eyes. That's fake. A practice that closely fits what you want would be Pathwalking. That is the practicing of aligning the plane of the spiritual world (or whatever non-physical world you will be working with) with the physical realm we are in. It's a way to have one foot here - one foot there, per se. You are consciously aware and active here but you are also seeing and in the other world. They align together. You can from there tweak your experience of pathwalking with magick. In the Northern Tradition this is done with runes. But there can be other ways to tweak the experience without runes.
