today is a Waning Moon phase
i read that at those times destruction spells work the best
but what about protection spells?
is it just about doing destruction or about protecting yourself from it as well? i have a (airplane) flight tomorrow and i've wondered if a protection spell will be useful..thank you for you attention!

Of course... in a waning moon you can do a protection spell.. since the waning moon is good to get rid of things.. so in another words you can make a spell to get rid of evil entities, or danger.. ^_^ so DESTROY hahaha.. so, it is still good. *_* it all depends how good you are for wording your spell in such occasion..So, any spell words in the waning.. or full moon is just depends on the wording and all the other essential things..

No, they did not make a mistake there... ^_^ the info is right.. and I am right.. O_O waning and new moon are good to destroy or get rid of things... ^_^ so you can use protection spells implying on getting rid of things.. or destroying them.. O_O well, I am sure it can work.

You can cast any kind of spell at any time. The phases of the moon only make certain ones more powerful, not prevent any other types from being cast. :)
