Onmyodo

So, does anyone here practice Onmyodo? It means the Way of Ying and Yang. I'm just curious as to this would work.

I love the lesser known paths like this since it's more..."hidden." But it does irritate me when I can't find any information on it at all.

I practice a form of it. It's a system of divination in which you find out signs of good and bad luck by just watching nature. It's actually also astronomy and natural science. It's like feng-shui with 'lucky and unlucky' sides. I think at one point it was thought to be useful in the warding off of evil spirits.

Haha, I wonder if they sell any books on it...

Feng shui books really shouldn't be hard to find. You don't even have to visit a specialized bookstore-- just go to your local Barnes & Noble and I can guarantee you'll find a whole bunch.

Books in English with onmyodo are pretty far and in between. I've seen chapters on it in some shamanism books, but that's about it.

There ARE books dedicated to the topic, but, well, they're all in Japanese
