I think I have a ability?

Merry meet, I'm not sure if you would call it an ability but I've always gotten really strong 'vibes'? Like when I talk with people online I can tell what kind of person they are, and if they are 'real'.

I know what kind if person someone is just by looking at them, for example, I met this girl at school and she hung around with all the wrong people they were always smoking, drinking and just generally mean but when we sat together in class once I could tell that just wasn't her. I started a convo and she is now one of my BF's because I could tell who she really was. My other friends disapprove but I keep it under control, I convinced her to stop drinking and am working on getting her to stop smoking! :)

So if this is a power what is it? Thanks for reading and any help is appreciated! BB )o(

I would say your Empath

Empath? What's that? :)

An empath is the ability to sense another person's emotions, but that doesn't tell you character traits/personality. Maybe you sensed she didn't enjoy hanging out drinking, smoking, erc... with those people.

It takes a lot of time to succeed on reading emotions,there are a lot of manuals on "reading minds" just by looking the way the person sits,truly incredible :-)

But in my opinion it is very easy to read a person when they're young since young people tend to lose control on their emotions and show it everywhere,haha.

Thanks, I'll look into it, empath is probably it. It's like ill get an initial emotion, and then I'll feel a wave of it coming at me and I just figure out what a persons like with that. Thanks again and BB! )o(

empath would be my best bet as well. i myself am an empath and it makes it generally easier to "read" people before even being exposed to their emotions. In fact that's how it manifested itself with my psyche when I was younger, I just didn't have the word for it.
There are a slew of very good books out there and lots of information on the internet on the subject of psychic powers and psychicness or psychic phenomena, psi as it is called now I believe; these books and online sites should be very helpful in pinpointing your ability precisely, or as precisely as possible.
