My name is Mina and I am newish here. I never really posted a new here when I first signed up and I left for a good while because I was busy.
I now have a daughter who is 5 months old. Her name is Riska.

I am hoping to find someone to give me guidance as I am trying to find my way. I am interested in Wicca right now, though I am open to reading and learning of other religions. My main goal is to learn to control my energies. I am also wanted to learn ways to teach children about the 8 Sabbaths and such, as I plan on teaching my daughter about them.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello and see if anyone was interested in possibly speaking to me about guidance.

Celebrating the Sabbats is good. And if your daughter is watching you, she will learn as you go. Work on yourself, as your daughter is yet young. You have time to beef up what you need to, and learn something new in the process. Welcome back.

For a beginner I recommend Ann Moura Grimoire for the Green Witch. Her Green Witchcraft series is also good. Has a lot on herblore, correspondences. All that good stuff.

Drawing down the moon - Margot Adler
The spiral dance by star hawk
Power of the Witch Laurie Cabot
A witches bible Janet and Stewart Farrar
Progressive witchcraft Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone
Complete book of witchcraft Raymond Buckland

I wish you much success on your path

Blessings
