That's a good article. Thanks for the referral to it.

I personally do not attribute myself to being wiccan or practicing the wiccan religion. I am a witch. I practice the Craft of the Witch. And I use the title WITCH before my name as the early Celts considered the word "witch" an honorific or desirable form of address that would automatically precede a person's name. Using the word "witch" in this way conveyed social superiority and prestige and was understood to mean, "the good people" or "the people who follow the customs of the land".

Language has always fascinated me. I often think about why people believe that chanting in one language is any more powerful than an other. I appreciate the mystery and power that the latin and gaelic tattoos on my arms have. However, especially for those witches who are blind or deaf, I believe that the Gods and Goddesses speak and understand and know ALL.

The Mexican Goddess of women and children Ahnt Kai has never said to me, "No comprende".
