Psychic/Medium

I am always asked the question What is the difference between a psychic and a medium? I will try to explain in the most simple terms what the difference is.
A psychic is someone who can see a future event, sense someone's emotions and see visions of past as well. A psychic's gifts lie in seeing past, present and future of the person they are reading. Now I feel I must also add that when psychic sees someone's future they are seeing the future of the person based on the decisions the person has made thus far. Say if the psychic told the person something was going to happen to them and then the person went out of their way to make sure it didn't then the person changed the future by changing the decision. A psychic might be able to see multiple possible futures dependent on the clients choice.
A Medium is just as the name implies, a medium between this world and the world of spirits. A medium is able to communicate with those who have crossed over. For example loved ones and beloved pets.
It is not uncommon that when you develop one you begin to develop the other at some point as well. For me the psychic abilities came first and then the Medium skills.

Your definition is very clear, and more detailed than mine.

I used to explain to myself that a medium could be a psychic but a psychic not necessarily a medium. What I mean is that a psychic get their information from their gift while a medium gets their information that a psychic could have but from a spirit source.

I think that is an accurate statement about where the information comes from but Personally for me I have not seen it play out in the order you described. For most people I have talked to and for me the psychic abilities came first and then the medium skills. If anyone has experienced it in a different order please let me know bc I know that the gift presents itself differently for most people. Grim did those gifts happen for you in the order you described?

I guess I would have to add that because I am Psychic and I haven't develop the gift of being a medium which idk if id want to because thats to be a higher level of a gift which some can handle. I can see things but sometimes it comes in on its own, sometimes I can at will if I need to..than my Empathic Gift feeling what others feel is very rare gift for people but anyone can on some level learn to do it but true born Empath as myself its a wonder to have because understanding and learning people is amazing. I don't consider my projection gift a Psychic Gift more a inner based emotion one if that makes sense...I still am figuring it out its complicated lol

For me Medium skills came first and my Psychic skills started to surface about 3-4 months ago and i have had the Medium skills since i was about 14-15 (when the first started)
