Well reading is a major part of magic. The next thing you will have to do is learn how to will your energy, this means start by reading about energys and how you are energy...everything has energy, this is because energy isn't just in one place it's everywhere.

Learn about willing you energy, shaping it, casting it.

But start out learning to move it through your body, feel your energy move. Then try moving it to something else...ect.
