Strange feeling

I'm extremely competitive comfortable animals and I feel fine with this particular cat but when he looks at me, he seems to look INTO me. When I look in his eyes I feel drawn to him but I do not know why. (don't know if its relevant) He is a large white tomcat with white, or light grey, eyes. He has a black bobtail and his right ear has some light grey splattering. Other than that completely white. There is another cat in the barn but I have never gotten the feeling from her. Any thoughts?

That's exactly what makes these animals so charming and intriguing. Try to develop this relationship because cats can be really loyal friends, but want to be treated as equals, is not a dog that might look ar you as her/his Alpha. It seems he's chosen you, whereas the other cat has not whatsoever intrest in you.

The cat is highly feral and idk if I want him to lose that nature.

I didn't mean that you should "train" him, probably I didn't explay myself clearly, I'm sorry. It was just my opinion about your situation and a little advice on how to confront with this animal, but you already seem on a good way. =)

Try to develop the relationship and see what happens
