I need an emotion spell

hello, sometimes i fell slightly angry and well, id like a spell that could help me with my anger. nothing to drastic that could mess with my whole personality but something simple like a personal mantra.

any ideas?

Meditation is supposed to help you keep calm, as well as eating a balanced diet and having a regular sleep schedule.
This might seem cliche, but you could also try counting to ten and taking deep, steady breaths each time you feel like you're about to lose your cool.

The best thing I learned for controlling emotions is "mindful meditation". It helps one get to the here and now. This can help us separate our thoughts from the emotion that is bothering us.

Sit in a comfortable position with your hands on the seat or in your lap. Slowly breathe in through your nose and out your mouth rythmically. Once you feel relaxed enough, focus your mind on your other senses. How does the seat feel below you? The temperature of the room? The smells? Take in all that you can, one thing at a time.

If you find yourself trailing off, start over. For example: The couch feels bumpy yet soft.. I got it at the flea market in town.. I am stressed because I got in a fight there today. You should only pay attention to your senses for this.

With practice, this meditation is very valuable and will become easy to do on the spot.

I really agree with the above post that meditation can be a good solution for your problem. And besides this you can take help of some natural medicinal herbs like green tea, you can also carry out the hobbies on which you are interested a lot.

Like everyone else already stated - Meditation. Its one of the best things for learning to deal with any emotion. Some self help books can also be useful if you are willing to read them. They have them written for all ages and some are even humorous to read. Check your local library and bookstores for that.

Beyond that, you could look into taking St. John's Wort. It aids in mood issues and I've seen it work well with anger and depression issues. I've taken it myself for years off and on without it messing up my personality or side effects - mostly for depression and anxiety. My brother took it for depression and anger issues with the same success. However, always check with a doctor that it is safe for you to take. It can interfere with a few other prescription medications so always better safe than sorry.

I wish you the best of luck with dealing with your anger. It can be a hard thing to work with.

I think you need a meditation so you can calm yourself down. I think reading books will calm yourself too. But the best thing to do is to let go of your anger.

What you might need is to escape to Nature. I also struggle with anger sometimes, I can be Hell on Earth when riled. I personally use Tai Chi breathing techniques, Meditation coupled with pleasing incense, hike when I can, and usually flee the Rat Race for a week or 2 every summer. Self-hypnotism also helps.
