How does our zodiac...?

How does our zodiac effect us and our work? I'd really like to know. (I'm a Leo, by the way.)

Astrology is a belief going back thousands of years,A belief that all planets, and even galaxies, have an influence on each other.
Examples would be the influence of the Sun and the Moon on Earth. But remember that Astrology is a belief; not a proven fact! The Sun and Moon do indeed have an effect on our planet! Whether or not they have an effect on us personally is a belief!

There are two main types of astrology, sidereal and tropical. The most commonly used one is tropical and I have found this to be personally a load of rubbish.

When I had a sidereal chart made for me, everything made much more sense. According to tropical astrology I am a gemini sun, sidereal tells me I am a taurus. Taurus suits me much better.

But I also agree with Brysing, it is long away from being proven as a fact. There are some people currently trying to analyse charts of events and people objectively and trying to provide proof. It is all quite interesting stuff. But I would still say I need more evidence to accept it as fact.

I don't really follow astrology unless its a personal reading, not a general one found in a magazine. Magickally it can effect you like Jupiter is near Leo in the sky so you will feel more energized [example] another thing I've been told is the zodiac predicts your birth element [Leo being fire] which helps people when they are connecting with the elements as a starting point. Other than that its a faith driven thing you can use when making plans for travel, work, spells, or whatever. Don't rely on it too much, as with tarot, I see it more as a helpful hint, not a 100% fact.

Its not actually just aboat the month in astrology its also the year in which one whas born, and contrary to popular balive there are actually 60 zodiak years not just twelve there are also 5 elimant for instance I whas born on the year of the earth-tiger and the month of the scorpion and I have no clue how it works but astrology is almost ded one on how im supposed to be aside for a few aspects

Forgot to mansion since there are five elements 12 animals of the year and 12 zodiaks of the Mont that line ut than there are not just 12 zodiaks but actually 5*12*12=720 zodiaks

They are different methods of astrology, not one sole system.

You have the chinese system which is the animals.

Then you have western astrology which has 12 zodiac signs with one of four elements assigned to three signs, spirit is not an element, it is the thing which the elements are made of and from whence they come- if you are going to state ideas rooted in hermeticism you may wish to do more research.
