Poppet Healing (name)

Okay, so here's the thing. I recently found out that my Mother has a lump on her stomach, which the doctors don't really know what it is (could be cancer, a tumor, related to the liver virus she has, they don't know) and they will have to remove it surgically.
I thought it would be a good idea to do a healing spell for her using a poppet to provide protection and aid in healing while and before her surgery. So I'm using a small paper poppet I made. I've done poppet spells before, and had good results with them. But I do have a question: I'm writing her name on the doll and does it matter much if I use her married name or her maiden name? It might seem like a small question but I'm trying to make sure everythings as perfect as can be. So any help would be wonderful.

Use the name she has now. Basically the name she is using in the hospital. If you have a belonging of hers or something that should help as well.
