The future is always changing, there is an infinite change in the universe, so no one who sees the future can tell you for certain what will happen, they can only tell you what will happen in that second of time, but even then time is always changing. So in a way, it could happen, but no one will be sure until it does.

The past is a history, the futures a mystery, the present is a gift.

Don't worry about the future, especially if its a dream by a friend. The future is changing all the time, sometimes by worrying about future events will change things. Plus, if this will come true, and your friend got the year right, you have four years to change it. It might seem fruitless and distant, but anyone can do anything, even if you don't reach your goal, at least try. But don't worry about war, things change all the time, in four years they could be allies, you never know.
