Most luciferians believe that Lucifer was right to rebel and believe in the hidden knowledge aspect of Lucifer. Also many Luciferians believe that other beings like the Egyptian God set,or the God Prometheus where the true saviors and teachers of humanity, luciferians call these divine beings the Adversaries. In luciferianism you are taught that "There is no God but me" which basically means that while you may use these divine beings, or demonic entities in your rituals, you are your own God. Many luciferians also practice "Luciferian vampyrism" which they consider a spiritual path that involves using your mind to drain energy from someone who has wronged you in some way or even random people. There are many ways that luciferians are taught to drain energy including Astrally there's even a luciferian vampyre book called "the vampyre gate" by author Michael w ford.
The Luciferian belief system by Michael Ford has its pros and cons.I own quite a few of his books and I have to say that his work is really repetitive. Most of the material is centered around vampire magick and invocation magick. Demons in this belief system are merely seen as dark representations of ones own subconscious. Working with the Demonic will uncover hidden aspects of the self which are buried in one's own subconscious. They will not only revel to you one's own hidden lusts or desires but they will help you to manifest them and control your weaknesses. Because this belief is about internal change and self empowerment, the Luciferian in my opinion is a solitary path. I have to give Ford credit because if it wasn't for his material I probably wouldn't be where I'm at today. The thing I don't agree with is the idea that most of these spirits are merely extensions of ones own subconscious or hidden aspect of the self. I believe this plays a part in the spiritual but it is my opinion that these entities exist outside of my own existence.
Further more, most of Ford's material regarding the demonology side of things is incorrect. For example, he says Lucifer, Samael, Satan, and Ahriman are just different aspects of the same being. He also says the same thing about Hecate, Lilith, Aphrodite and Naamah.
Sure if you're an atheist who believes that these beings are merely hidden aspects of the self and they all come from the same aspect of your subconscious, I could see this working but for the most part I fail to see the connections between Lucifer and Ahriman or Hecate and Lilith.
I understand that these beings in the Luciferian belief system are Adversarial Archetypes who represent the perfected self or Godself that we strive to become through magick and knowing thy self. But where do you draw the line between what is fact and what is made up by Ford?
Also for the most part Vampire Magick in the Luciferian belief system is nothing more then a fancy word for Invocation Magick. Like most occult authors nowadays he is trying to make his work sound "dark" or "forbidden". There is nothing new or forbidden about invocation, it's just what he wants you to think when you approach a magical operation that deals with invocation.
Sure, channeling and invoking spirits may be empowering but this doesn't mean that you have their power by consuming them with creative visualization known as vampire magick. The power that dwells within each and everyone of us can't be limited to deific masks obtained through rites of invocation or as he would call it vampire magick.
I agree with you on some parts. If it wasn't for Michael w ford I wouldn't be where I was today, while I don't agree with all of his work I believe that his work with vampyrism is amazing.
You did well on this Jordan, I'm glad to see your still investigating different paths.
I think it's also note worthy to mention that some of the spiritual forms of Luciferian art (pre ford)view Lucifer as the deity of choice and actually honor and or worship him as others do with other deities.
Remember, there are many variations between branches of Vampyre paths and not all practitioners are atheistic in view.
