People whom watch television, read books that are not real, and watch Youtube. May find this particular subject quite misleading...you would think "Necromancy" is bring the dead back to life, but you are not to far off. Necromancers use Necromancy as a way of divination, communication with the deased.

Now there are different ways to communicate with the spiritual plane, but none of them involve physically seeing or speaking to spirits. Necromancy is the most brought up topic in divination, well that and tarot cards.

This study actually is a bit more complicated than it seems. Please do proper studying before trying to communicate with the dead.

that's not what I know, from my experience necromancy isn't necessarily evil it's not bending dead souls to your will or taking corpses as slaves, it's controlling and creating organic matter to make skeletons and half dead creatures. when strong enough it can even bring somethings back too full condition like when it was alive but it can't bring back a soul to the body. but this means necromancy can also be used it healing by replacing damaged or missing organic tissue to due things like seal cuts and regrow peoples arms. necromancy is incredibly useful and it's not evil it's just normally used for evil purposes. the only thing that makes magic evil is the means to use it, the purpose, and the way its used, like making making deals with the devil or cursing someone or using pyromancy to burn someone alive.

Then I am sorry but your sources are incorrect, Necromancy is the study on how to communicate with the dead. Nothing more nothing less, and I never said that Necromancy was evil.
