can anything happen after using a Ouija board? how do you end while using a Ouija board, and how do you know if the spirit is still there. how do you protect yourself from bad spirits? thanks.
Hey There! I have used them before and not unless you anger the spirit be cool and calm and don't freak out it can be a fun actually learning experience!!
I haven't used a real life ouija board before, but a protection spell before using the board may help you. Just be sure the close the board by dragging the cursor to goodbye when you are finished, and don't allow the board to count down or spell the alphabet backwards, since that could mean that the spirit may be trying to escape the board. Another thing you shouldn't do is ask answers that will result in strong answers(ex: when will I die?). I just learned this stuff from reading on ouija boards a while back.
Spirit boards are truly dangerous as ive used one many times without trouble then found more than I wanted as a witch my self they open portals that arent always easy to close. I got aid from several others and failed, end result I used necronomican spirit to rid my tormentor and was free from it ive not used in years. There are many ways to communicate with spirit realm safer. My advise user beware, ive talked with many in the craft who will not use the board there are many types of spirits astral, spectural, earth bound people who died, demonics, etc be careful once the door is open its hard to close. May the gods smile upon your works.
Things can happen if you upset a spirit or didn't say goodbye it could stay with you, either for companionship or to bother you.
Easiest way to end a session is say goodbye and wish it a safe journey home.
The spirit usually leaves after a bit depending on how it feels, but you would sense it in the room after you end the session. Could be an energy, or the feeling of being watched. You might also see it as a shadow or orb in the room. It could be your imagination if you want it to still be in your house, but when I use the board and speak with a wandering spirit, and they stay, I say they can leave in the morning, and they do. If the spirit overstays its welcome, a cleansing and protection will 'kick' the spirit out of your house like any unwanted house guest.
Like with a spirit overstaying its welcome, you can protect yourself after the session by cleansing the house [sage smudge or salt water work] then protecting it. Be sure to always cast a circle, this will keep negative spirits away. However, the board is like a spirit magnet, once you begin a session, any spirit in the area is pulled towards it. Once you open the circle, a negative spirit could be waiting, so cleanse the room, and yourself before and after using the board. It's also a good idea to cleanse the board every so often depending on how often you use it.
Using a Ouija board can be dangerous if you are not 100% sure what you are doing, make sure you have someone or you know yourself what you are doing before you start and once you have contacted a spirit be calm and friendly towards them, angering them will only make it bad for you.
Ouija boards can be quite fun and interesting if done correctly as I have done myself in the past. Have fun :)

Things can happen while using a ouiji board but not always do if you are being careful and follow rules. Sometimes a spirit can pass through, and may even possess a living being if they are powerful enough. If this happens, the board should be destoried and the room and house should be cleansed. To end, tell the spirit that you're done talking for now and say goodbye, allow the cursor to move to the goodbye point "on its own." If you don't say goodbye you're leaving the portal open and spirits can pass through. Projecting yourself with a circle is the best idea, its also good to have incenses burning.
