Completely new to this

Hello everyone I am completely new to magick and I would really appreciate some advice on where to start, should I start with finding my element or something entirely different. I appreciate any help you can give me.

For information on this site, start with newbie Central. Than move to the article section and read some of the articles about magic. You can also search for getting started, basics, and beginners guides in the forum.

As for your element, you have each of the four elements in you, why limit to just one? Learn to work with them all.

No, we can work with any of them. There is no need to be limited by just one.

Then what is the point of the "find your element" spell? Is that just the element I can control easiest?

From my point of view, there is no point. You will find if you apply common sense to many of the spells in the spell book that there are a large number that are of no use. It is an old issue here and one that has been beat to death on why it exists and why it can't be fixed. Take it as a challenge to pick the good from the bad. A learning experience.

Is there a way to find which element I can most easily control? Surely not everyone has the ability to control all of the elements to an equal extent.

We do not control them, we work with them.

Ok thank you for the clarification, so I have looked into the things you mentioned before, and I am wanting to try my first spell, any recommendations? (Preferably an elemental spell)
