Hello. Now it may be a bit unorthodox to ask but I don't know much about gods and goddesses, for I am a new wiccan. I would like to know how i choose my god(s)/and/or goddess(es). I am sagittarius if that helps. Thankyou.
Personally, I just pray and talk to the Moon Goddess and Horned God, the two main gods of the Wicca religion. You can also, as suggested above, find a deity or have a deity reach out to you for you to work and pray to! Hope this helped! Mail me if you have any questions :)

Well if you are Wiccan [with one or two exceptions] you would worship the Horned God [ not the devil, his horns are actually antlers] and the Triple Goddess [maiden, mother and crone] the two make up everything. Gardner who founded Wicca observed male and female energies in nature and concluded there are male and female energies in the divine, as well as inside each of us. As the wheel of the year turns the Lord and Lady tell a story, on Samhain the old God dies and is reborn at Yule with the sun, as the year goes on they meet, marry, age and are reborn.
If you follow another deity from another path it is a personal choice. Through meditation, circle, prayer and ritual we connect with the divine, sometimes through our studies a deity will come to us, normally we go to them, and they will decide to work with us or send us away. Some deities are nicer than others, so study before you call on them, and be sure to be respectful. The Lord and Lady [also known as the Triple Goddess and Horned God, or simply God and Goddess] are our parents, they love us as their children and wish us the best. There are darker aspects to them, but if you see them as your parents and are sincere in your craft, you won't anger them.
Well i think that matter on your preference but remember don't choose a god or goddesses only for good luck or something like that ex Don't worship Aphrodite only for good luck in love or Hera for marriage or Athena for wisdom etc.If you want to worship a god or goddesses you must fell that you have a connection with them.P.s This site is very good for you http://www.theoi.com/ Blessed be!!!

Traditionally in Wicca one worships the Horned God and the Lady of the Moon. The Horned God is not the Christian devil but is seen as the Lord of the Animals and the wild with antlers or with horns such as those of a ram. When starting out many of us began by simply calling upon the Deities as Lord and Lady.
Over time you may find that you are drawn to a particular God and Goddess and wish to form a relationship with them. You can begin this process by reading the mythologies of various cultures to see whether any of them resonate with you or whether you feel drawn to a particular Deity. If you do feel that affinity you can begin to build a relationship through meditation to let them know that you wish to have a relationship with them. You can also build an altar to them and make appropriate offerings to gain their favor.
To be honest, in most cases it is the Deity that chooses you rather than the other way around. So it is a good idea to pay attention to signs that a particular Deity is trying to get your attention.
I would also recommend the book "Devoted To You " by Judy Harrow for a better understanding of what it is like to have an intimate working relationship with a Deity.
You worship if you are truly wicca the horned god and the moon goddess. If you are pagan like worship Greek, or Norse. You are a Hellenistic pagan. Or of you worship Norse gods, you are a Nordic pagan. That's my advice.
