When a ritual object breaks, I consider it "dead" and bury it if it is organic, or incorporate it into something else, particularly something just for decoration. It really depends on what it is made from. If it has many parts, and one part is still unbroken, like a gemstone or other charm, I would remove the unbroken pieces and create a new wand with them integrated as a way of carrying over the spirit of the item.
