Yes. Demonic spirits can attach themselves to living people, and inanimate objects. Knowing when something dark might have a possibility of being attached to something that you are curious about trust your instincts and the feeling you get from the object or person. Though there could be many methods a very important step when dealing with the demonic is to trust your instinct and if something doesn't feel right it more than likely isn't. If you have to take time to meditate. Rushing into deciding whether or not something has a demonic attachment could bring out the imaginative aspect. Demons can take that and toy with it so you get concerned enough about the situation it could cause you to over think so much that the energy you would generate from thinking and being so concerned would then give the entity it needed to manifest itself or do more harm. They can take hold of objects unwillingly, but they can't take control of other bodies unwillingly. That's because of free-will.
