Discussion on Spirits

Hello all. Just today I have been looking into the contact of a spirit and I was wondering: what are your experiences with spirits? What types of spirits do you deal with and how frequently.

My experiences have mostly been negative do to the nature of my practice. I have dealt with Demons and others usually helping people with hauntings. I would say I deal with a major haunting at least once a year and usually its closer to every 5 or 6 months. I deal with minor stuff much more often of course. I also occasionally summon things when I am doing research. Im not saying all spirits are bad its just if I am involved they usually are. Its fairly rare that im not dealing with at least some kind of spiritual contact once a week but as I said before most are minor.

I work with spirits of the dead mostly. With them, I generally only speak to/with those which are interested in speaking to me. That means I don't bother the dead that don't want to be bothered, nor those that would take offense to my practices or what I do for/with them. Overall, my experience with them is always positive, always supportive, always loving. We work together supporting each other as we would in life, and I do get to speak to "nameless" dead. I call them nameless as we haven't settled on names/titles that fit them but they are there nonetheless.

Outside of them, I get a bit of netjeri activity from my deceased pets and some from my spirit work (but that's neither here nor there). Those range from positive to negative depending on the interaction and circumstances.

I'd say that's true of most spirit work; the interaction and the setting make the biggest difference on how it turns out.
