understanding a dream

I keep having the same dream repeatedly and it is always the same. I arrive on at a battle camp of some kind, my family is there, I hug them goodbye and go stand on the front line. I put my hands together and as I pull them apart, a bright light engulfs area in front of me. Any help with dream appreciated.
